Second Phase - 3rd Week

On 24th June, I reached the school early as we were assigned exam duty for the unit test of class 10 students. The commencement of the Academic Year for class 11 took place on this day. I had class in 9A in the fourth period. 

On the 25th, there was an educational strike.

On the 26th, an Anti-drug day rally was conducted in the school by Scouts and Guides. 

On the 27th, my class was during the 2nd and 4th periods. In addition to this, I took 8C students to the ground and engaged 10C students in their free period.

On the 28th, a dance, skit and awareness class against drug abuse was conducted by Asraya, Kalayapuram. My class was in the 3rd and 7th periods.

Second Phase - 2nd Week

 I was on leave on 18th June as I had to attend the UGC NET exam.

On the 19th, Reading Day was observed. Special Assembly and Special programme was conducted. Two magazines made by the students - one for drawings and one for writing - were revealed. 

On the 20th, I had two classes. The DEO visited the school when I was teaching in 9C.

On the 21st, the Yoga Day was observed. This day too, I had classes in two periods.

On the 22nd, I had no class as per the time table. But I had to engage students all the period except the 6th since a few teachers and a few B.Ed students were on leave.

Second Phase - 1st Week

 

The second phase of the Internship Programme as part of the B. Ed curriculum began on 12th June 2024 and I am doing my internship at Govt. HSS, Pattazhy. 

On 12/06/2024, I reached the school early. The HM was on leave. So we met Simi teacher and received the timetable. In the second period, I went to 9B along with Prabhav. In the third period, I had class in 9C. I spent the time introducing myself and getting familiar with the students. 

On 13/06/2024, there was a special assembly. Bincy, a staff of the PHC spoke about the rabies vaccine. Simi teacher announced that the school students became winners in Indo-Nepal International Mini Football. In the 2nd and 4th periods, I had to take classes in 9C and 9B respectively. 

On 14/06/2024, I had classes in 9A and 9C. The chapters are progressing well and I am happy about that.

Community Living Programme

 As part of the B.Ed Curriculum, the Community Living Programme was held from June 5th to 10th, 2024, with the theme "Kathal - Embrace the Essence". The programme was led by staff coordinators Dr. Ceena Chacko, Dr. Smitha Eapen, and Dr. Surya Chandramohan, supported by student coordinators Lekshmi, Nebin, Varsha, and Prabhav.
