The Capacity Building Programme, which is a part of the BEd curriculum was held on 24 January from 10:00 AM in the seminar hall of  MTTC. The Leadership and Personality Development class was led by Vishnu Prasad MV and It was a thoroughly engaging class with so much fun.

Union and Subject Association Inauguration

 

The Inauguration of the College Union and Subject Association for the year 2022-23 was conducted on 20th January 2023 at 10:00 AM in the Seminar Hall. Mr Abhilash Mohanan, deputy editor of Mathrubhumi News was the chief guest. 

MTD Secretary Fr K A Mathews, Principal Dr Rosamma Philip, Staff Secretary Dr Tharamma George and Union Advisor Ms Ceena Chacko adorned the dais. Nithin Varghese, the Union Chairman was the president of the function and Ms Varsha Merin Varghese (Vice-Chairperson) and Mr Rijo M John (1st Year Rep) gave the welcome speech and vote of thanks respectively. The afternoon session was filled with various programmes such as songs, folk songs, thullal song, and dances. 

I express my gratitude to the union representatives for giving me the prize for the logo and motto competition held.

National Youth Week

 

National Youth Week celebrations began on 12 January, Youth Day, with a general meeting and a week full of programmes that utilised various kinds of intelligence of student-teachers. Tug of War which focused on coordination in group activities, Musical Chair which tested concentration, and Treasure Hunt which used all the qualities of individuals were conducted. For the first time in the history of Mount Tabor Training College, a YOUTH ICON CONTEST was conducted in 5 rounds and Rincy Ubaid of Physical Science option was selected as the Youth Icon. The winner was declared at the Union and Association Inauguration event today.

Tinsel - A Ray of New Hope

The New Year programme of Mount Tabor Training programme was conducted at 10:00AM in the Multipurpose Hall of the College on 3 January. The Programme had messages from various people, a new year's resolution, a candlelight prayer and a New Year's friend gift exchange.
